Nikau Vessel

Commissioned for Hasting City CBD.
Market Street Sculpture, Nikau Vessel references the market place with a cornucopia of produce from the Bay of Plenty. Drawings of local fruit and produce were developed as computer files to produce the stainless steel, perforated screen.
Water flows from the vessel tank down either side of the screen.
Dimensions: Height 5000mm x Length 6000mm x Width 800mm.
Materials: Vessel and support structure - 3mm Aluminium. Perforated Screen - 1mm Marine Grade Stainless Steel.
